Borrow Internet Hotspots ideal for households without Internet.  Great for taking on trips/camp. Can be checked out for 2 weeks.

Sign up for LAMP resources delivered to your residence--for community members with visual and audio challenges, needed resources can be shipped to your home for your use.  Call the Library to learn more.

 

Interlibrary Loan to obtain resources from outside of Beaver County!  Monaca Library can borrow items for you from libraries throughout the state of Pennsylvania, in the event the item you are looking for is not owned by a library in Beaver County.

Information and Reference Assistance—whether you are doing a job search, learning about a new field to go into, genealogy research—we are here to help with your information need!

Technology Assistance—whether you are wanting assistance with a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or, with using and creating online social media posts or sites, we are here to help!

Reserve our Program Room for a meeting or club event!  You can call the Library at 724-775-9608 to reserve our program room for a meeting you want to have, or to hold an interview, to hold a tutoring session, to hold a card club weekly or monthly session, etc.

Outreach Services to local senior facilities and daycare facilities—The Library Staff is very interested in collaborating with community partners in a variety of ways.  Call us for more information!

Library Social Worker—If you would need assistance applying for jobs, creating a resume, financial assistance, food assistance, etc, Michael Moore is at the Monaca Library 2 x a month, on Mondays, 1 to 7.  Stop by, or call to make an appointment.  724-775-9608

Free Food Pantry—Take what you need--food, personal toilettries, or, drop off donations of these items to help others.  The free food pantry is open all hours the Library is open.

Changing Station and Pack n Play Crib—If you and your little one needs a crib for resting or a changing pad, simply ask staff for one or both of these items for your use.

Museum Passes—Monaca Public Library offers free passes for the entire family to visit 8 local museums.  Stop by to pick them up, or call to reserve.  724-775-9608

Memory Lab, Analogue to Digital—The Library offers equipment and software, free of charge, to convert analogue items (VHS, cassetes, 35mm slides, camcorder) to digital versions.  Stop by, or call to make an appointment.  724-775-9608

Sensory Friendly Room and items to use—If you would need a calming space for individuals or groups, stop by and use our sensory friendly room and games and items to experience.

Foundation Directory and GuideStar—If your nonprofit needs information on available grant programs, and to also register your nonprofit in GuideStar as a legitamate non profit elegible for grant funding, come into the Library to use both of these online resources.

STEM items to check out!—The Monaca Public Library offers for check out STEM items for use by your family and children, as well as for teachers.  Items include VR headset, Drone, electrical circuit kits, engineering kits, microscope, etc.  Call to learn more!
